D is for…

Well, this may be out of left field but…

D is for Drinking.

Ah, yes, my author side is coming out. Or is it my human side?

I can’t tell sometimes.

But yes, today’s post is a small tribute to drinking.

In not one, not two, but three of my books, the main character likes to drink. And well, since I put so much of myself into my characters, I guess that means I like to drink too.

Hell, I’m drinking a beer right now.

In Playing House- Hannah is a bartender with a flair of concocting her own shots.

In That Next Chaper (due out Fall of 2016), Grayson owns the an Irish pub called Soal.

And in Runaway Road (due out in Summer of 2016), Brett runs and operates a food blog. He talks about food and beverage trends from all over.

I’m a foodie, and drinks and food go hand in hand. A burger taste amazing with an ice cold beer. Italian and wine? Forget about it!

What are your favorite pairings? I’d love to hear them 🙂

    1. There’s just something about a glass of wine that really does send a meal over the edge 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

    1. That sounds delicious! There’s a place in North Charleston, SC that maybe some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’ll have to try this pairing the next time I’m there 🙂
