Sound the alarm…here comes November!

My schedule has just filled up…and quickly!

For those who don’t know, November is National Novel Writing Month- or NaNoWriMo for those close to this crazy project.

Basically, it’s a challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days to try and produce the first draft of a novel. A good handful of these drafts have made their way onto bestseller lists and even into movies.

I have to say, I feel as though I have my work cut out for me. I’m working on the final revising of Playing House for publication,  trying to write a holiday themed short story before Nov. 15th, and finalize two outlines for past stories I’ve been working on. All while working a full time job…

It’s a good thing I have such a strong caffeine addiction!

Any of you participating in NaNo? If so, find me! TTPie1983 🙂 I’m going to need all the push I can get.

Serving up fraps until she can’t take anymore…

I recently joined a Facebook writing group and they were talking about music being apart of their writing process.

I must say, music is an influence in everything I do. If I’m having a bad day, I put on something I love that makes me dance. It works every time. Next time you’re pissed off or stuck in traffic, put on Baby Got Back from Sir Mix-A-Lot- can’t be mad while this song is on. Can’t be done

One In A Million from the Backstreet Boys is a song I’d put in the Soundtrack Of My Life list. It’s the inspiration behind my first book, Playing House. Plus the BSB are just hella awesome and everything they sing makes me happy!

What song (or songs) would you put on your soundtrack?
